Welcome to our fourth dev log for "The Faithfulness of the Universe", where I, BibiXP, will talk about how far along we are in the creation of this visual novel! :D

We just skipped last month's dev log due to wanted to have more done before our next Itch.io dev log, and now here we are, with more writing and art, enough to be quite a bit along! We also have a lot more of another, previous, game done, which I'll mention near the end! :DDD

Now onto the Itch dev log!

Programming: 55%! We have not been able to get too much programming for "The Faithfulness of the Universe", other games yes, but we've had a lot of focus on the art and writing as of recently, both of which progressed enough that we might get back to programming in Decenmber!

Art:

BGs: 100% done! BGs can now be considered done and ready! Any backgrounds that I have originally planned have now been fully drawn and prepared to be implemented so, unless I think up another background later, this section of art have been finished. Check out our newest background below!

CGs: CGs finally had their time to shine recently, we've gotten a lot of them done recently, and now many scenes can fully be created! Here's a small sneak peek of one below! They're fairly simple, mostly adding new poses within the game that are not quite sprites, but they help add life, similarly to the sprites at the table or laying on the ground! 

This one in particularly will be edited in game to allow more of a zoom effect, which will help it fit in properly! It might also be edited a bit more art wise, just for polish. The background is also just them for reference really, the sprite of Shana can be used anywhere!

Sprites: 100% done! As previously said in an earlier dev log, all sprites needed have been completed thankfully! :D

Writing: 70% done! We've really progressed in writing recently! With about half of chapter 4 done, and the rest being writing, we might just have the rest of chapter 4 done before the end of next month, then one more chapter!

Thankfully we had time to get a lot done recently, not just in "The Faithfulness of the Universe" , but in a previous game "CTRL FREAK", in particular the programming and some art. This was the very first game we ever decided to make, so you'll be able to see how we started in just a little, alongside seeing how we progressed in "The Faithfulness of the Universe" when it's done! Fun! :3
